The Campus Laboratory School General Scholarship Hardship fund provides financial support to families with children currently enrolled in the Campus Lab School who are facing significant hardship as a result of emergency situations.  Support may include, but is not limited to, food assistance, funding for school lunches, activity and field trip fees.

Empowering outdoor learning experiences designed for students feel comfortable in nature and develop a sense of stewardship for the environment are an integral part of learning at CLS.  This fund supports the maintenance and development of green spaces, outdoor learning materials and equipment, and supplies for the school garden.

The Early Childhood Learning Fund supports our youngest children, ages birth to age six, with innovative programming and dynamic indoor and outdoor learning spaces.  With a commitment to maintaining national accreditation, and in partnership with our University Education Early Childhood Programs, this fund will further the mission of providing high-quality care and education for our youngest learners.   

Campus Laboratory School is committed to increasing educational opportunities for our community neighbors through the designation of a specific scholarship fund for families residing in West Oakland neighborhood.  This scholarship fund will provide tuition assistance, lunch support and technology need for students.  The goal of this program is long-term scholarship support for students as they matriculate through eighth grade graduation.  Families who have been displaced or qualify as homeless under the definition of the Pennsylvania McKinney-Vento Act will continue eligibility for this scholarship once enrolled.   

Our vision is to ensure equitable access to current technological resources at each developmental level in an effort to increase student engagement and creation of learning.  We strive to create authentic learning opportunities in which our students are not merely consumers of content but rather creators and understand how to be a responsible digital citizen.  This fund will support our ability at CLS to increasing the technology literacy and proficiency of the learning community, through STEAM and computer, coding and digital resources including professional development opportunities for teachers. 

Our CLS commitment to inclusive practices, welcoming students with learning difference as full members of our community.  This fund provides opportunities for teacher professional development as well as instructional materials to support teaching and learning. 

Out-of-school learning consists of curricular and non-curricular learning experiences for pupils and students outside the school environment.  This fund will provide resources for summer camp and after school programming including teacher stipends, materials, and scholarship opportunities for student participation. 

The CLS Annual fund supports the greatest priorities of the School by providing necessary and critical resources for the annual operating budget to transform classrooms to meet our digital and instructional needs.  Annual fund donations are unrestricted; donors allow the School to expend the funding where it is needed most.  Always reflective of our mission and vision, monies are used to support tools and curriculum to provide innovative learning experiences which inspire students and spur their creativity.
