Intermediate Years - Grades 3, 4, & 5

Integration of subject matter continues to give shape and substance to the school day as students develop critical thinking skills, exercise creativity through the written word, and develop greater proficiency in the areas of mathematics and science. With careful guidance, students take on bigger challenges. Writing research papers helps to organize their thoughts and ideas, while preparing oral presentations helps them to become more comfortable with public speaking. It’s an exciting time filled with special events including field trips, a science fair for budding inventors, a colonial fair to explore United States history, and Creative Arts Week to highlight students’ flair for art, drama, and musical expression. Parent-teacher conferences and quarterly reports keep parents up-to-date during these critical years of progress, discovery, and spiritual growth.
