Forensics

The Diocesan Forensics Program enhances the quality of education and provides the students with skills and experience in oral presentation that prepare them for further academics in both high school and university.

The six areas of the forensics program:

  • Oral interpretation of prose and poetry
  • Impromptu speaking
  • Declamation
  • Dramatic interpretation
  • Multiple reading

The program of activities includes three divisional meets, divisional finals, one Novice and one All-star Tournament. Individual performance is measured against skill criteria rather than student competition in all but the All-star Tournament, where students compete against each other in the skill areas. Excellence is recognized by ribbon and/or certificate awards.
