The Campus School - Robotics

The robotics program at the Campus School makes use of the LEGO ® ROBOLAB programming software and the LEGO hardware kits. The program requires students to build, engineer, program, solve problems, work in teams, and troubleshoot in order to accomplish tasks as simple as following a line and as complex as traversing a maze. The program is used as part of the fifth-grade science curriculum and is offered as an after-school activity for students in grades six to eight .

The after-school robotics team competes in the FIRST LEGO League competitions sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University . The Campus School has been very successful in their competitions, bringing home several trophies and certificates for their achievements.
