  Yearbook
Yearbook is an activity that challenges the creativity, writing, graphic design and technological skill of individuals. The staff is comprised of seventh and eighth grade students with the written permission of the yearbook moderator.

Students will learn a wide variety of techniques required to design a yearbook. The components of design include pictures, copy, artwork, graphics, and layout. Staff will compose captions for pictures and body copy for pages based on the chosen theme of the book. Publication terminology will be introduced and staff members will be made aware of meeting deadlines imposed by the yearbook publishing company. Students interested in yearbook are committed to this activity from September until March.
