“Learning a foreign language not only reveals how other societies think and feel, what they have experienced and value, and how they express themselves, it also provides a cultural mirror in which we can more clearly see our own society.”
‒Chancellor Edward Lee Gorsuch
Learning a language is becoming more and more an important skill to have in our multi-cultural world.
There are 57 French speaking countries around the world.
I am the French teacher for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade and I'm pleased to be bringing my culture, language and my experience to your children.
My goal as French teacher is to make the students aware of the importance of the world and the importance of learning French, so they can be an active part of the world community.
Thoughout the year the classes will focus on four basic key areas of French - listening, speaking, reading and writing - each intertwined with themes of francophone culture.
As a French native from Paris, my passion for language brought me to work and travel to various countries.
During these travels and work abroad, I taught French, discovered their culture, and learned Spanish and Portuguese.
