Ms. Brandi Cottrell
Hello! I am excited to be in my seventh year at Carlow. I have been teaching since 1999 and have taught in a variety of environments. After graduating from Washington and Jefferson with a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish, I immediately began pursuing a Masters in Elementary Education from Duquesne University. After spending some time substituting for Pittsburgh Public Schools, I moved to Richmond, Virginia and taught for the Richmond Public School System for seven years. As many Pittsburghers at heart, I returned home. Upon returning to Pittsburgh, I taught Head Start and later first grade for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. My passion is for early education. I also have training and interest in teaching English as a Second Language. Teaching at The Campus School has been a blessing and I have been fortunate to have worked with amazing students, families, and colleagues. The past two years I've had the opportunity to work closely with our administrative team as Admissions Coordinator and as Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, to further support Campus School students and families. Connecting great students and families with our one of kind school has been amazing!
